About us

We are founded in the 1970s located in Mandai Tekong Village. The location has since been redeveloped as part of Woodlands Town. The name of Mandai Tekong village is preserved as you can find a park named after the village in Woodlands Town.

我们成立于1970年，位于万里德光村。该地点后来作为兀兰镇的一部分进行了重新开发。万里德光村的名字得到了保留，你可以在兀兰镇找到一个以该村命名的公园。 

During those days, our temple was set up for the  "Consultation" service via "Goddess of Mercy - San Niang". 

当年由三娘佛祖救世，为村民指点迷津。

As part of Singapore Urban Redevelopment in the 1980's, our temple is affected as well. We were one of the later batch to move out of the village. In 1992, together with Bak Sua Siah Boo Temple, we successfully got a piece of land in Bukit Panjang to build our new temple. 

一九八零年代市区重建，我们也收到影响。在1992年，有幸的我们与木山圣母宫一起获得建屋局分配的一片地来建庙。

It was a long construction journey for us. After facing multiple challenges we manage to complete our new temple construction in year 2000.

建庙的过程十分艰难，遇到种种挑战。不负众望，富丽堂皇的庙宇终于在2000年竣工。

In 2002, a new statue of Guan Yin was consecrated. The statue was crafted in china with 1 piece of white marble standing 6 meters tall. We believe this is the only set of white marble outdoor Guan Yin with Shan Cai Long Nu Statue in Singapore. 

二零灵二年，高六米的露天观音菩萨举行开光升座大典。这尊观音是有一整块汉白玉雕成，十分庄严！

Our temple lease expired in 2022 and after the government announced the revised land pricing framework, we successfully renewed the temple's lease for another 30 years in 2023. 

岁月一转眼就过去了三十年，庙宇的地契已在2022年满期。经过政府重新评估宗教用地定价，我们成功的在2023年顺利续约三十年。
